America! America!

 … these lyrics are from the song America The Beautiful, here sung by the great Ray Charles,  but originally written as a poem by Katharine Lee Bates, who was inspired when seeing the view at the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado.

No disrespect to the current National Anthem, but in my opinion the song doesn’t have the same soul gripping melody that America The Beautiful, or God Bless The USA has.

Regardless, I am proud to be an American. And there ain’t no doubt I love this land! Here in the U.S.A., I aim to showcase, through imagery, the greatness of the United States as being very special, and very unique! (Like any country inherently is)
